Here’s another nail in the coffin of local TV news and the credibility of the numskulls who deliver it. KSWB’s Raoul Martinez convinced his co-anchor Shally Zomorodi, there was a smartphone app that allowed users to “smell” and “taste” food right on their iPhone or iPad.
Shouldn’t there be an IQ test to be on television? Granted that would leave us with static and SMPTE color bars for 99% of the day, but really? Did she take any journalism classes? Maybe look at a calendar? Sure I almost bought the NPR story about people getting corrective eye surgery so they could watch 3D movies without glasses. But then I got a clue.
“You stay classy, San Diego!”
