Unusual Baby Names Sure To Make Kids Hate Their Parents

Anyone who names their child, “Puppy” should be arrested and the child should be placed in protective custody.

The “Most Unusual Names of the Decade” list, was compiled by Bounty Parenting Club a British organization, after it attempted to discover how many parents had tried to give their baby an unusual name. The bizarre names were discovered after experts went through the millions of recorded names given to newborns over the past decade.

Experts said many new parents were being influenced by celebrities who had given their children more unusual names. But they warned parents to “think very carefully” before embarking on unusual names because it could affect their child’s psychology.

That you would have to warn parents about giving their offspring a crap name is bad enough.  If they can’t figure it out on their own they shouldn’t be breeding in the first place.

The parents are forgetting they themselves are not celebrities.  Their kids will not go to a posh private school where all the other kids have silly made up names and get chauffeured to and from school.  No their little progeny will attend dank public schools and get the crap beat out of them or teased mercilessly on Facebook.

A name on a birth certificate will not make your child special.  Not being a crap parent who ignores the kid’s mental and emotional needs or puts undo stress on the kid will make your child unique and fairly well adjusted in the 21st century.

“It’s great to see parents being creative and wanting their children to stand out from the crowd with more unusual names but there are a few names here that children may find hard to live up to.” said Bounty spokeswoman Faye Mingo.

I don’t know, some kids could live up to names like Shy or Ice.  Although it would be ironic if the kid named Victory was just a perpetual loser.  Or if Shy turned out to be a slut.

Mingo continued, “The majority of parents polled said their unusual choice was because they didn’t want their child to share anyone else’s name.”

But she added: “Parents do need to think very carefully about everything that comes attached to an unusual moniker as it can definitely shape a child’s experiences from how they are treated at school and beyond.”
