Let’s see how can I get people’s attention? I know, I’ll stick a donkey in a parasail harness and drag it into the air. This marketing stunt was intended to attract people into parasailing at a private beach club.
The animal, braying in terror, soared above the Russian southern coastal village of Golubitskaya while crying children below echoed its screams. Yet, before the animal took off, people stood around on the beach and watched it get strapped in.
The animal eventually landed back on the shoreline in an ‘atrocious manner’ after being dragged through the water at the Sea of Asov resort. Afterward sunbathers rushed to rescue the frightened donkey and were lucky to stop it from drowning.
Police will now launch a probe and, if the entrepreneurs are found guilty, they could face prosecution for animal cruelty. The offense carries a maximum punishment of two years in prison.

Both the Soviets and USA launched dogs & monkeys into low Earth orbit in the 1960s
and let them burn up during reentry. I guess when the government does something it’s
science, but one guy does it, it’s cruelty to animals.
Maybe they could send up a lady with the donkey and have a mile high donkey show!
