Censorship is awful thing in a democracy. I found it rather disturbing that the ABC Television Network first banned then considered heavily editing an ad from Lane Bryant that featured Cacique, its new line of lingerie. “We’ve never witnessed this level of content censorship,” said Holly Baird, a rep for the Lane Bryant.
It doesn’t make any sense. We see Victoria’s Secret ads running all the time. Hot models in lingerie, what’s the big deal?
ABC thought that model Ashley Graham’s curves were too hot for TV, but they’ll continue to show me the dried husk of the actress that used to be Lindsey Lohan stumbling drunk into that cactus over and over again on TMZ, The Insider, Extra, Access Hollywood, and Entertainment Tonight. I don’t care that she’s been banned from nightclubs. I’d like to have a Lohan-free zone on all of television. Show me the hot model, not the has been!
