Trying to extend that 15 minutes of fame
Supermom Kate Gosselin admits to Vanity Fair that her kids have been “acting out” lately. “I’m trying to give them the grace to see, if they’re acting out of line, I’m trying to look deeper into why that is,” she says. “Why the kids are acting out. Cause it’s all inter-related. I mean, they don’t see it, but it’s all interconnected.”
Sure the public divorce, your wanting to be a TV star without them now that Jon & Kate Plus 8 is ending– yes its all interconnected. The children all miss their father, who splits his time between New York City and their Pennsylvania home. “They say they miss him,” Gosselin said. “I imagine they say the same thing when I’m away.” And you’re away a lot doing interviews on The View, The Today Show, The Early Show, Regis and Kelly, Larry King Live, etc.
In each interview Kate likes to go on about her “meltdown moments,” when she cried and felt she couldn’t cope. “I don’t know why that came as a surprise to people,” she says. “I don’t cry often and I don’t allow myself to cry often. Crying to me is a waste of energy and a waste of time.” Vanity Fair noted that Kate’s talking about crying can be very humanizing. And it seems to have worked well for her.
The New York Post’s “Page Six” reported that Kate even cried at a taping for the new talk show she may be co-hosting; produced by Telepictures and modeled on The View, it’s to be a chat show about working moms, with panelists including former Early Show anchor Rene Syler and Food Network host Paula Deen. Kate “broke down in tears over the pressure of her divorce on her eight kids,” said the gossip column.
Exacerbating matters is the fact that production has been shut down on their TLC show after Jon Gosselin forbade the filming of his children. The suspension in filming left the kids “wailing and sobbing,” Kate Gosselin said on the Today Show two weeks ago.

Nadya sees Jon as a breeding stud
But don’t worry about Jon in all this. In an exclusive interview Nadya “Octomom” Suleman told RadarOnline.com that she thinks Jon Gosselin is quite the catch! “I kind of have a crush on Jon Gosselin,” Going one step further, Nadya even said: “I think he’s hot!”
I know somewhere in the offices of TLC or VH1 they smell ratings gold– a show where the Octomom dates Jon Gosselin and Kate vows revenge. Surprisingly, the Octomom might be a good match for Jon since she has a better grip on reality than Kate:
As for dating, Nadya doesn’t recommend it to Kate. “I don’t think any single mother of any amount of kids should start dating,” Nayda said. Maybe realizing that she didn’t want to be alone forever, she will relent on the no-dating rule “when the kids are older.”
As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Jon & Kate Plus 8 will end in November and Nadya, despite rumors of her own reality show, said she thinks that’s the best situation for the Gosselin brood. “I think it’s exploitative,” she opined. “I don’t care what the dollar amount would be, it’s not worth it, it’s not healthy for the kids, it’s not beneficial for them.”
