Is Knowing Really Half the Battle?

According to Variety, “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra,” had a $100.3 million worldwide opening weekend. Somebody liked it.  Being familiar with G.I. Joe cartoons from the 1980s it makes me wonder:

“If knowing is half the battle.  What exactly are we fighting that is such a pussy, that simply knowing is half of the altercation?  That would never work in a bar fight.”
