Jeremy Don Kerr is suing the New Orleans Police Department. He claims an officer threatened to arrest him for wearing a black pinstripe skirt to municipal court. Kerr is suing for $1, claiming that his rights were violated. He is also asking for an order against barring access to public facilities based on gender stereotypes.
Kerr, who describes himself as “a heterosexual male of Scottish ancestry,” said in his U.S. District Court lawsuit that officer Glen Tate confronted him as he was leaving the courtroom for an appearance on a charge of disturbing the peace, “He threatened to take me out of the courthouse and put me in Orleans Parish Prison over a simple choice of attire,” Kerr said.
Having served on jury duty more times than I would have liked, I have seen things far more offensive than a dude in a skirt. His skirt sounds dressier than most of mine. Personally, I like dudes in skirts. I’ve always had a weakness for Scotsmen.

Men look hot in skirts, well most men. Axl Rose, not so much. You can’t really arrest a man for wearing a skirt. You can’t really harass them either… even if you are a cop. Unfortunately, there are no laws against being an asshole.

Nobody is going to questions Connery's manhood

I should say that jobseekersofamerica.com has lots of interesting information. Looks like the author did a good job. I will be coming back to jobseekersofamerica.com for new information. Thank you.
This is horrible. A guy gets threaten by a cop because the guy is in a Kilt? That is discrimination. There are no laws that say women can only wear skirts, and if the skirt-like garment is a kilt, this is a huge insult at so many levels being an American. People have died for such freedoms, and the Kilt is not mockery, a joke or cross-dressing.
This cop needs to be taught a few lessons about kilts and what being an American is all about.
Let me get this straight — a guy in New Orleans was threatened for wearing a kilt? A kilt? In the town where people wear crazy costumes at Mardi Gras and women flash their tits 365 days a year?
