French Military Stallion Goes AWOL in Paris

Now Groundskeeper Willie may have labeled them cheese-eatin’ surrender monkeys, but I have always found the French to be very nice and accommodating.  Which may play into the stereotype.  I give you Garibaldi, a 15 year old military stallion, who went for a run through Paris streets after throwing off his Republican Guard rider.  How is it that we can stop runaway trucks and cars in a police chase here in America and the French cannot corral a horse?
