Palin Pardons Turkey, Others Not So Lucky

Governor Sarah Palin is the gift that keeps on giving.  Her crusade to retain relevance for a possible run in 2012 continued last week as she gave “exclusive” interviews to FOX News’ Greta Van Susteren, Today’s Matt Lauer, and CNN’s Larry King.  Then some killjoy in her state filed an ethics complaint against her for filming interviews from the governor’s office.  Isn’t it cold outside?  Where should she conduct interviews?  Maybe she can get the First Dude to give out rides on his snow machine.

So this week, to keep the fires of Palinmania stoked and anxious to look presidential, Governor Palin gave a pardon.  She pardoned a turkey.  Thanksgiving is next week.  It’s time to give some lucky bird his reprieve.  Unfortunately, she only pardoned one.  Keep your eye on the guy in the background.
