Watchmen Trailer

BIG fan of the Watchmen graphic novel.  A little worried that Warner Bros, is doing this one—since V for Vendetta (another Alan Moore masterpiece) was just okay.  But thankfully the trailer shows a lot of promise.

This is a great time to be a comic book connoisseur and all around fan of pop culture items in the superhero/ action genre.  It’s like a new Golden Age, with the Christopher Nolan Batman films, Frank Miller’s 300 and Sin City on the big screen, Heroes (season one, jury is still out on season three).  And I can’t forget to mention this summer’s Iron Man and Hulk.  It all stands in marked contrast to the dearth of watchable films and television shows from the late 1970s and early 1980s.  More later.
