It must be true. At 8:08pm Pacific time, Brit Hume is talking nice about the new president elect.
I saw CNN call it. But it wasn’t until Roger Ailes gave me the go ahead did I believe it was finally over.
Karl Rove just called the Huxtables (yes, of the Cosby Show) America’s First African American First Family.
Good thing the Brit is calling it quits at the end of the year. The analysis is going down hill on FOX News.

I didn’t vote for him (I’ve been a McCain guy since ‘aught nothing). But damned if I didn’t get all kinds of verklempt when he won.
As for the TV analysts, you could have been stuck watching regular network TV. Fox had Shepherd Smith, trying to be profound by telling a story about his grandmother. CBS had Katie Couric speaking through her forced smile the whole time. NBC had not enough Tom Brokaw and waaay too much Brian Williams. At least they were all good enough not to interrupt the concession and victory speeches.
I miss the McCain of 2000. I did see him again during his concession speech. I wish that man had run. I wish that man had taken more time on picking a VP running mate. Three crucial weeks wouldn’t have been wasted on lipstick and Katie “I have the lowest ratings of any broadcast evening news” Couric interviews.
